Anna insisted that everyone have water and she was right. It was blazing hot but she always found us shade, and her stories were fascinating. “Awesome tour! Anna-like-Louisiana was so knowledgeable. There was nothing cheesy about this tour it was more of a historical tour yet still so intriguing and creepy. “Anna has a PhD in Anthropology, among many other degrees/qualifications and is very knowledgeable about the history of the city, voodoo, cemeteries, and NOLA culture in general. The voodoo tour featured a lot of weight about Marie Laveau, whom I knew little about before today. As you may expect from a PhD, the tour was very factual, but she kept it entertaining as well. Would definitely recommend this tour and tour guide.”
